近年来学院积极贯彻学校《河海大学新时期对外开放规划》,结合力学和材料学科的特色和优势，注重国际合作交流的内涵发展，不断提升学科在国际学术界的影响力，2012 年以来承办多项重要国际会议。这些会议促进了学科的国际交流，促成了实质性国际合作项目，推动了学科相关领域的发展，提高了学科的国际影响力。代表性的由我院主办的国际会议有:
